Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by the Intemic platform at app.intemic.com. It does not cover the public website at intemic.com, which has its own policy.

2. How we ask for consent

The first time you open the platform we show a cookie banner. Optional cookies are switched off by default and nothing optional runs until you tick the corresponding box and save your choice.

Your decision is stored for 180 days. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the Cookie settings link, and withdrawing is as easy as granting.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These keep you signed in and the platform secure. They cannot be switched off, and they are set without consent because the service cannot be delivered without them.

CookiePurposeDuration
accessTokenAuthenticates your requests to our API24 hours
refreshTokenRenews your session without signing in again7 days
mfaTokenCarries the multi-factor authentication step5 minutes
authjs.session-tokenMaintains your signed-in sessionSession
authjs.csrf-tokenProtects sign-in forms against cross-site request forgerySession
authjs.callback-urlReturns you to the right page after signing inSession
intemic_cookie_consentStores your cookie preferences180 days

Every cookie in this table except intemic_cookie_consent is HTTP-only: JavaScript running in your browser cannot read it. The consent cookie is readable by design, because the browser needs it to decide which optional scripts may run.

On secure connections these cookies are also marked Secure and SameSite=Lax.

4. Analytics cookies — optional

Used to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. Provided by Microsoft Clarity, which records aggregated usage and session interactions.

CookieProviderPurposeDuration
_clckMicrosoft ClarityPersistent identifier for usage analytics1 year
_clskMicrosoft ClarityGroups page views into a single sessionSession

If you do not consent, Microsoft Clarity is never loaded.

5. Error monitoring — optional

Used to capture technical errors that occur in your browser so we can diagnose and fix them. Provided by Sentry.

Sentry does not set cookies, but it does transmit technical data about the error, including the page you were on and your browser version. If you do not consent, Sentry is never loaded in your browser and errors go unreported.

6. Browser storage

The platform also uses localStorage and sessionStorage to remember interface preferences. These stay in your browser, are never transmitted to us, and are strictly necessary for the interface to behave consistently.

KeyPurpose
current_organisation_idThe workspace you are currently working in
sidebar_collapsedWhether the navigation sidebar is collapsed
intemic_copilot_*Copilot panel state and selected agent
intemic_product_tour_seen_*Which onboarding tours you have already seen
pending_organisation_idCarries a workspace across an invitation flow

You can clear them at any time from your browser settings; the platform will simply fall back to its defaults.

7. Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

8. Changes

When we add or remove a cookie category we will ask for your consent again.
